The Navigation Simulator is a standalone basic instrument navigation and orientation trainer. It offers the capability to learn general principles without having to use complicated and cumbersome flight controls or simulators for specific types of aircraft. It is unrealistically easy to fly so that the user can concentrate on navigation. For that reason it is flown by keyboard only so no special controls are needed. Keyboard commands basically tell the aircraft to turn, stop turning, climb, level, etc.
